Nursing Stations can help to reduce mortality rate on the Island

Kam na bane Mauri!

Nursing station is a small health clinic whereby an appointed nurse by the Ministry of Health will be looking after the health of that district or where the Nursing station is being built.

that area can benefit in many ways such as, Saves Money, people won't spend much money to pay for their fare and etc; Saves Lives, a nurse will conduct his or her health assessment of that area, conducting health awareness and health education, attending to emergency cases and many more health services.

if we are really concern about our health, i believe that we need to have such nursing station in areas such Buokonikai, Tabiang, Ieritabeta, Rakentai and far places.

but we need to work it out  first. the community has to meet and to decide to fundraise for the raw materials, look for the best location of the nursing station and once it is built then hand it over to the Ministry of Health to run it for the benefit of the community.

in this way, we can reduce the death rate by regular health check-up, obtaining health information on how to keep healthy and many more.

Available NGOs can assist finacially towards the Community Project but we have to initiate it first.
