Prabablly some family ancestral names. She's actually from there and has two names, her other name is Nei Temano which is now the name of one of my sisters. Sorry I'm not very family with her family history from there.

Your Paternal grandmother Nei Maie named me when I was an infant!! I wonder how this name related to her but I learned its a name from Tabuteuea
