Thankyou so much Stacey! I'm not entirely convinced the man is my grandfather but it is possible. The cricket team photo is great. Things like this really help to lift the veil off what life was like back then. I never would have thought the women would play cricket in those times! I note from many of the photos that everyone seemed to wear white in those days. I suppose it was a cooler colour to wear in the tropical heat...

This photo is also from the Williams Collection (my great grand parents) and wondering if this could be Frank standing in the powerhouse??

I have other photo collections from this period and will keep checking, as I have seen Franks face before.

Mrs Werner is identified as the woman standing in the front row second on your right with black scarf around her head. Mr Werner is also probably in the photo but his name does not appear on the discription as follows:
