Folks,

No doubt a lot of people won't have a clue who Ben Fogle is...

good luck and c you at the next mail
Hey I like the head gear and thinking India! Wish we could catch up for your 40th but at this stage with the business and traveling back and forth to Fiji and trade shows in US I think Thailand is a miss for us. My girlfriend was in Cambodia with some of our other friends last year and they all just loved it. The photos of the place look fantastic and they said it is like an unspoilt Thailand and Vietnam.
Good to see you are still traveling the world and its a shame you never thought of a funny dance like 'Where the Hell is Matt' video. Could be retired and still traveling dancing your way around the world.
That's the same email we have for Nat so will try her again.
Also emailed Colin but haven't heard from him. As you know he is not that keen on internet and still prefers his books and the phone. He always phones us in the very early hours of the morning while we are still in bed and he is sipping away on a glass of red. He's trip to Cuba sounded interesting.
Heard that Clive was running for Mayor from Colin but didn't know he had got in. I can imagine Clive is in his element! Does this mean he has to stay at home more now?
Jeremy always keeps in touch and helped our mate Grant McCall do 'gilberetese' voice overs for the HOMECOMING video with Ken and Terimoa's help. Grant, Max and Ken took them over to Rabi in December.
The OZ dollar took a nose dive over the past months and we are suppose to be headed for a recession, but thankfully our virgin coconut oil customers are getting hooked on our oil. Sales have doubled over the past 12 months and still increasing. We are just in the process of setting up an automated bottling system at our factory to cope with demand. So hope the sales keep going.
Hear they have finally lifted kava ban in EU but still in place here in OZ of course. Just what we can bring in for personal use.
That's about all the news from our end! Keep in touch and after a second look at your headgear... thinking that could be the edge for you to start a 'where is Gazza's hat?' video. You could make a fortune and think of the possibilities... what about one of those PNG wigmen hairpieces! My poor old marketing brain never stops.
See ya, Stacey
Yes, it's over a decade since our journeys to Rabi and Banaba.
It's been a while since I last bumped into Natalie. This would have been at one of the annual Kiribati & Tuvalu Associations Annual Independence Day Weekends, held in the UK.
She wasn't at the last event, held at Great Dunmow - where Clive Smith (he of wiggling ears fame) is now the Mayor.
The last known email address I had was:-
natalie@ecosse.net
Though I'm sure you or Stacey would have had this one.
Colin Hinchcliffe might have more up to date details. He is closer (geographically) to Natalie than I.
I was last in Brisbane for the cricket, when England were thrashed by Australia during the test series. Unfortunately, there was no time between matches to catch up with old friends - the tour went from Brisbane to Adelaide to Perth to Melbourne and finally Sydney in no time at all.
I shall be 40 this coming March - and if you and Stacey happen to be in Bangkok, Thailand - do feel free to join me for drinks.
When: 7th March, 2009 at 2300 hours.
Where: The Sirocco Bar, The Dome, Bangkok
www.thedomebkk.com
I'm going to be in Thailand, Laos and perhaps Cambodia for 25 days.
That said, the economy is turning to custard in the UK - so I may have no job to go back to. In which case, I'll be chucking away my return ticket and staying out there until things improve.
Live long and prosper my friend.
Gaz.
