Likewise Merylin....it was nice to finally get in touch with you. I was compiling the master geneology tree for the Rotan Family Reunion in Dec 2008 when I first came across yours and your good husband's name listed as Joshua's parents. You will find that we are all over the world and we even have family there in the States. Should you wish to familiarise yourself more, please do not hesitate to email me on rota_m@usp.ac.fj. Kindest regards to you and your family. Our love to Joshua.

Sorry for the wrong family link....Joshua is actually my nephew since his late Mum is my first cousin.

Hi Merylin...I am Joshua's cousin and my family lives on Kamakau and Nukudrati, close to where Joshua's immediate family lives. Tekanabu, the older brother is currently at home in Nukudrati with my children and their Aunty Helen. Nice to know that you will be visiting them soon and I can only imagine the happiness that this visit will bring. Love to you all!!

Mauri Merylin

Of course I remember now... how lovely to hear from you and see you joining us on Banaban voice. Great for Joshua to link up with all his Banaban relatives via this site. More and more of the Banaban community are coming online as they get computers. Of course still very slow and expensive to get connected from Rabi end, but is happening. Only a matter of time and as you can see by the site, everyone is excited to be able to finally keep in touch.
Looking forward to seeing some of your photos from US side of things and you might already know some of our Banabans - State side that are also connected via the site.

I was in Rabi last October for Banaban Elders Day... great to be home to catch up with family and friends. Hoping that I can get over again this year depending on work here. To hard for Ken and I to go together as one of us needs to be here to keep the company running.

So keep in touch and hoping we might get to meet in person one of these days.

Mauri and Welcome to Banaban Voice Merylin. Note you just joined our Banaban Members Club as well via Nature Pacific.

Hope Banaban Voice will give you more insight into our Banaban communities which are scattered around the world and back home in Fiji and Kiribati. You will see that we even have some of our younger Banabans working and living over there in the States as well now.

Regards
Stacey
