Mauri Waqa,
This is a very old classmate from the Banaban Primary School in Rabi, Fiji!! Kouara? Koa boni kaina Kiribati ngkai? Just joined this network and saw your name which is hard to forget as i always thought it was rather different - as I recall, you had a younger brother named Max - right? Anyway, hope all is well with you and yours. I remember your mom and dad - is she still around? Mine passed away several years ago but dad still going strong in Rabi; my sis Oboria is keeping an eye on him as she is teaching at the high school there. I've been in the US 14 years now and getting rather homesick for the islands which is why I finally decided to contact old friends from those days. When I try to explain to my kids the games we used to play - pani and buka etc, they just stare at me with blank looks!! Nice to catch up with u again; hope to visit Kiribati in jan with sis to see koraki there and my cous Teborou Rewi; - Keep in touch, Susan.
