Rabi - First Contact

Our first trip ashore at Albert Cove (the settlement of Motawi) was a short one and we met the people who lived in two palm-thatched houses just off the beach. Ice plant saves travelling costs for Rabi islanders

Jetty plans for Rabi

A NEW jetty is expected to be constructed on Rabi next month to improve shipping services to the island.

The jetty will make way for more development opportunities for the Banaban community and the neighbouring islands.

Use knowledge to farm Rabi: Minister

EDUCATED youths without employment must invest in natural resources available in their villages instead of relying on the Government to provide them with jobs.
