The change in weather patterns and flooding has seen the demand for crude coconut oil increase and this will mean more money for local copra farmers.
Copra Millers of Fiji Board chairman, Ilisoni Taoba said at the moment the price for one tonne of copra is at all time high as the major coconut oil producing countries like the Philippines and Indonesia are being affected by adverse weather conditions.
