Banaban teach Skills to neighbouring Fijians

RADIO AUSTRALIA - Pacific Beat Updated October 31, 2011 09:46:37

If you want to upset a Banaban call them Fijian.

They are proud of the difference and still miss their homeland they were moved from years ago after their islands were plundered for bird guano by their former colonial masters, Britain.

The Banabans believe their close knit community has valuable skills that would benefit the wider Fijian community and have begun a series of workshops to teach those skills to their Fijian neighbours.
