Banabans on Rabi - Flight to safety - Tsunami News Briefs
MORE then 1000 villagers of Rabi island assembled at various high points of the island yesterday to save themselves from the tsunami. The warning, which, was later cancelled, didn't deter the islanders from carrying their families to safety on high grounds in the four villages of Uma, Tabewa, Tapiang and Buakonikai.
Rabi Island Council administrator Boukanawa Teaoti said they closed all four schools.
