Delegations from the Government of Kiribati and Tuvalu arrived yesterday afternoon for the "Engaging with the Pacific' meeting that begins tomorrow at the Natadola Intercontinental Golf and Spa Resort.
The Kiribati delegation is led by His Excellency the President of Kiribati, Anote Tong.
This was confirmed by Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Solo Mara.
Also arriving yesterday was the Prime Minister for Tuvalu Apisai Ilemia.
Countries that have arrived include Kiribati and Tuvalu and the Solomon Islands which is represented by their Prime Minister Dr Derek Sikua.
The Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, is expected to arrive today.
It has also been confirmed that Vanuatu's Foreign Minister will be attending the "Engaging with the Pacific" meeting at Natadola which takes place tomorrow and Friday.
