A KIRIBATI lad has high hopes that what he learns from the Pacific Youth Festival will make him become a better leader in the future. Teraoi Euta, 23 from Kiribati looks to share his spiritual life experiences with his fellow pacific neighbours. The Kiribati delegation consists of 21 members. What he learned from his fellow youths attending the youth festival makes his life skill and understand more of life.Euta who with 21 youths which makes the contingent from Kiribati said his upbringing of spiritual life of a youth at home well be shared to the other youths in order to make them a better person in life in their home and communities. “God has helped us in so many ways so despite the different cultures or skin colour we are one in the eyes of God and that is one way youths of today can live a better life in the world,” Euta said smiling. He also acknowledge the input of the festival organisers and give the pacific youths an opportunity to learn from each other and take back with them what they havwe shared and learned from the festival. “To be a better person, you should do the right thing and stay out of drugs and alcohol and also be mindful of the dangerous diseases of HIV/AIDS.
“Kiribati is not a big country but they do base their beliefs in their spiritual and godly life,” he concluded.
