Fiji braces for Tropical Cyclone Thomas

Fiji's Meteorological Service is warning people in the country's Northern islands to be ready for a cyclone on Sunday. Earlier today the service issued a warning about a tropical depression near the French territory of Wallis and Futuna. It has now developed into a cyclone called Cyclone Thomas and is expected to hit Fiji on the weekend. As well, Solomon Islands is being warned it may also get extreme weather over the weekend, generated by a weather system, currently located North of Vanuatu.
