Congratulations to this new Councilors and Yes indeed, a big Ko bati n rabwa to Teatu for his term as Chairman and all that he has done for us Banabans. The going will get tough for the new team as a lot will be expected of them by the community but as the saying goes 'only the tough get going when the going gets tough'. Bless u all.

Thanks once again Biara for connecting us to the actual countdown last night from Rabi. Unfortunately I couln't accomodate all of our families and friends who wanted a direct contact to Rabi due to the limitation on my dialup connection but again Biara had done a fantastic job as you all can see on his above message.
Yes, and a big congratulation to Bauro from Stacey and I for his new appointment as Chairman of the newly elected Rabi Council of Leaders. Our big thank you to the last Chairman Teatu Rewi for his commitment as leader for our people in the past years. We trust that this new team of 8 young and elderly men plus one lady Councillor ( 9 in all) will commit their term to make Banaba and Rabi a better place to live in thus giving our people (grassroot level) hope of a better life now and brighter future to come.
Even though Stacey and I cannot vote for our Councillors, there is one thing that "yes, we can and will do", support them all the way through the best way we can. We hope that all members of Banaban Voice who are Banabans and friends to us no matter wherever you are also give their support to our new Leaders as they prepare the way to meet the oncoming tasks.

God bless Banaba and Rabi,
God bless the Councils,
God bless the Banabans and their friends.

tia boo moa .
