Rabi Elders send thanks to 'Banaban Friends' abroad for kind donations to try and get food urgently

Ken set up a phone conversation after Village meeting was held in Tabwewa village this afternoon. The elders extended their thanks to all those 'Friends of Banabans' living abroad for being so generous and supporting them in their time of such need.

Tomorrow more village meetings will be conducted to work out plans to co-ordinate food sourcing and distribution through out the entire island. This information and planning will be coordinated through RCL Chairman and Team based in Suva.

Will keep you posted as more details are forthcoming and plans are formalized.

I would like to thank our overseas friends who have already contributed towards this important first stage of getting emergency food and medical supplies into Rabi.
