The founder of the Virgin Coconut Oil industry in Fiji
To our mentor, our friend, our colleague, our Elder - Adrian you had the vision and the spirit to believe in the future of Virgin Coconut Oil. You were the pioneer in Fiji that created an industry from nothing. You proudly showed us the first coconut tree planted on the farm by your family in 1878 and went on to become the first and only certified organic coconut farm in Fiji. You were dedicated to the environment long before it became the new world order. You created a totally sustainable renewable energy source to run the whole plantation and plant using steam power. Your adventures and achievements go far beyond Wainiyaku, you are the end of an era.
What an amazing life you lead over the past 86 years and what a beautiful family and legacy you have left behind for the rest of the world to share and benefit from. We will be forever grateful for your support in employing so many Banabans and their families on the farm. Your spirit will remain with us all in every drop of oil we send out to our loyal customers through out Australia and exported to the far ends of the world.
