Hi Richard lovely to see your post and yes our Facebook BANABAN VOICE page is very active and a closed group. Over 1,800 members now and mostly Banabans.
Please log in there and apply for membership and I will approve it. With regards to your grandfather was he related to John Miller who was on Banaban between 1908-39. His son Frank now passed away donated copies of all John's photos and Ken and I went to visit Frank when we first started to research our history book back in about 1997. He lived on Bribie Island north of Brisbane. If you can email me direct on stacey@banaban.com The Tekeang name is a popular name amongst the Banabans. I look forward to hearing from you.
