Hi Jim, sorry for the late reply but yes, Iam related to the Kosraean Sigrahs. Actually Iam the descendant of Kun Miswan (old) who married a Banaban woman called Nei Boa back in the 1800s.
When my late Dad ( Tororo) attened the first Kosrae independent he actually stayed with the late Papa Shiro at the wooden house on the at Lela.
On his return from this in dependent ceremony my dad told us all about Kosrae and the family back there and what more important was that Papa Shiro (the Elder of the Sigrah family at that time) told him that on his return to make sure that all of his and brothers children should sign as the Sigrah 'for that is the only name that will identify our Kosraean heritage...so since the 1970s we all use our real surname ( SIGRAH ) till today and even to our childre and grandchildren.
Hope this helps to let let you know that Iam part of your family...Cheers.
