Thanks Stacey,

I can understand fully the damage inflicted having had our house ripped open twice, in 1990 and 1991. It takes years to get over he ordeal mentally and to restore farms and crops etc.

One thing I am wondering is if anyone reading this can help with regard to the current bus. How long has it been on island and where did it originate from as I cant see the rego plate which may be an indicatio. The body is built from the mid 90's on by Shreedhar and the chassis looks to be Leyland so there shouldnt be problems with spare parts with so many of the type in service in Fiji.

Regards
Peter

Hi Peter unfortunately this is the only bus left operating now on Rabi. The bad road and cyclone damage takes a very heavy toll on the buses and any vehicles on the island. I think RCL is reviewing this issue now.
