You know how they have this annual competition in Tarawa called the "Battle of the Karaoke" ? What do you guys think if we were to have one in Suva & Rambi? And make it an annual event??? I'm sure there's enough talent around to put on a decent show...

Mauri Ascia what a fantastic idea. You know years ago I thought wouldn't it be wonderful to have some type of music or cultural festival that everyone from around the Pacific and the world had to come to Rabi to attend. Similar to what they do here in Queensland called the Woodford Folk Festival. It is a week long event and they set up a camp for a week on a farm north of Brisbane like a Woodstock and they have a lot of cultural programs with dancing and singing. I was thinking more on Rabi Tribal cutural festival to celebrate all and try and get some big international acts to come.

You know from just small idea big things can happen. Woodford Folk Festival just have a look how big this event has grown here over the years. It becomes a yearly pilgrimage and event here during  Christmas holiday week http://www.woodfordfolkfestival.com/

The festival offers acts and events for everyone from young to old... just amazing. A huge tent springs up every year and it cost about $500 a ticket to attend for the week and hundred of thousands of people pay it to attend.

So many te I matang that would really appreciate your music and talents and anything tribal and Pacific. Anyway just an idea and I think there is so much talent with you young ones that needs encouragement.
