CONSTRUCTION work at the Rabi jetty in Vanua Levu is expected to be completed by April.
Works Ministry spokesman Iliesa Sokia said those travelling to and from the island will soon be able to breathe a sigh of relief that the jetty was near completion.

TEN poultry and 10 virgin coconut oil projects are being targeted by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation at a total cost of $70,000 for the year.

An overstayer whose family island was destroyed by phosphate mining has been refused refugee status in New Zealand despite claiming he faces abuse and torture in Fiji whose citizenship he holds.
