Powerful Pacific earthquake triggers killer tsunami

At least 19 people have reportedly been killed in a tsunami that hit the South Pacific islands of Samoa and American Samoa.



And a number of Australians have been injured, the federal government said.



"The early reports don't suggest that any of them are very serious, but they are in hospital,'' parliamentary secretary for international development assistance Bob McMullan told Sky News.

Rabi High aims to develop quality learners

Rabi High School is located in Tabiang with a total roll of 250 students.

The only secondary school on the island, offers classes from Forms One to Seven administered by a staff of 25.



The former site for the school was located at the Government station in Nuku which was opened in 1985 by the then British Ambassador.



It was a Junior Secondary School then having the first Principal who was a local (Banaban) by the name of Teiwaki Benaia.
