ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES FACED IN RABI!!!

Tebouatata and Hello to everyone.

We are trying to identify the major environmental and cultural issues or any issues that needs to be addressed occurring in our beautiful Island, Rabi and we will need all your help in achieving that. These issues include:

1) waste disposal

2) Poor water quality and storage facilities

3) Sustainable agricultural practices

4) Coastal degradation or destruction of the marine environment

5) Loss of cultural identity

6) Impact of human activities on rivers and oceans

7) Sea level rise

etc, etc

These are just a few examples of environmental issues that we managed to highlight and I am kindly requesting you all to provide suggestions on these issues or any other issues you think need to be addressed so we can help find ways to minimize and improve on them. In case you all wondering, this is an initiative that started this year by some USP students and some NGO and government workers in Fiji, all Banabans, to help solve and eliminate problems faced in Rabi.
