Slides of Banaba from the 1960's

Hello Everyone

I have finally got around to archiving my parents slide that they took when they worked on Banaba in the 1960's , The goal is to have them digitized & made available , Possibly by writing a book about My parents on Banaba & my being born there & early childhood memories .

There are some fascinating images of a time long gone which stirred some great memories

Hi Dom hope you are well. Sounds a great idea. Roger Anderson gave us copies of his colour slides from Banaba in the 1960's when the island was at the peak of mining. We have used a couple in our latest edition of Te Rii ni Banaba. He had them all converted by Kodak when they were still around. Regards Stacey
