My Boss has me onto this and we want to know how you are going to re build Banaba?
We have sat off your North and East costs in storms, but never landed, as we will not fit through your Breakwater. However we have seen many reasons to think you are a very lucky nation if you were organised, we see an income of 3.75 Million USD in one year on one project, or the purchase of a ship to begin your trade, from what you already have on the island.
We also see a possibility of a large amount of associated work that could earn you a chance to build a strong and forever lasting future if you were able to step up that next great step and become a core lynch pin in Pacific heavy industry.
Oh, you may laugh, I have however, seen twelve families of six children each, step from self-sustaining farming, to being millionaires in twelve years, and they had been equal or worst situations that you people.
It can be done, so we are interested in how you plan to do it.
John Wills Wellington.

Give me your email address and I will tell you about our plans. I am coordinator for the Banaba Rehabilitation Project, appointed by the Rabi Council of Leaders. My role is also to protect the Banabans' interest. We are making significant progress on a feasibility study and have the backing of both the landowners and the support of the Kiribati Government. I am currently engaged in negotiations to raise funding for this project. We are serious people and we are working for the Banabans. We do not wish to give them false hope. Our experience working for the Nauru rehabilitation project tells us that this will be a long hard process and no Banaban will get rich quick. In your email can you please provide details of your boss, yourself and your company. I would also not consider landing on Banaba next time you are near it as you would be contravening Kiribati law and the rights of the Banabans from whom you require permission.
