UNDP signs deal with Kiribati for climate fund roll-out

Aid donors are being asked to make sure funding for climate change programs is being used effectively. The United Nations Development program, UNDP, has signed an agreement with the government of Kiribati to assist with the coordination of mainstream environmental programs.

Often there is little follow-up from reports, conferences and meetings, so the UNDP is looking to see what gaps remain and which programs are falling through the cracks.
