Nigel Etuate Christopher’s grandfather was the first doctor on Rabi Island.

Australia to give $15 million for Tarawa road

Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr has announced Australia will provide $15 million to rehabilitate 40 kilometres of main road in South Tarawa, Kiribati, which has been undermined by rising sea levels and coastal erosion.

Banaban Student 12 drowns Buakonikai, Rabi

A FAMILY on Rabi Island is mourning for their son who drowned at the Kamakau River last Saturday, becoming the country's first drowning victim for 2013.
